Happy Birthday to Seth and a Happy 10 month Birthday to Lily!

We have continued to enjoy doing nothing… next week we are planning our first family vacation to the beach. I am looking forward to getting away and spending time together.

Lily said “Dada” to Seth the other day. She had mastered dadadada and mamamamama months ago, but now she knows to put a word to a face. She also has mastered shaking her head “No” to just about everything. She is too cute!

So, Seth and I celebrated our two year anniversary yesterday. We celebrated by going to dinner and letting Lily have some play time at her friend Avery’s house Who, by the way, is officially walking. How cool is that?

After spending the day at the pool, and washing a very dirty Lily…. we got to play grown-ups and wear real clothes.

We are back from the beach. Lily had a blast! Hopefully soon we will get to go with Daddy too!

Lily takes the holiday VERY seriously…

With Daddy off today, we spent a lot of time playing in the front yard and taking walks around the neighborhood. Lily liked watching Daddy put the new screen door on the front of the house and we played on the grass with Lily’s new lion walker.

The best part is we really didn’t do anything this weekend, other than eat good barbeque and play. Those are the best kinds of weekends.
