Happy Thanksgiving

Well, it has been awhile since I updated pictures and posted anything new… we have actually been up to quite a lot! Lily is walking everywhere now and trying her best to get into anything she can. Our tree is up and the presents are wrapped… early I know but we wanted to get everything done before Seth’s restaurant opens. I am so proud of him and Lily can’t wait to have to drive less than 3 minutes to visit Daddy!

Be sure to come by and visit us if you are around, the Grand Opening is December 4th!

A few pics in Lily’s November folder, promise to get more soon once my computer is up and running!

We are walking!

Lily has been taking steps here and there for the past week, but for the first time this morning she walked to a destination (Mommy!) all by herself.

November, already?

Well, Halloween came and went.. and we had a blast! Lily spent the afternoon at Mom’s school, getting to be in the big kid parade. She had so much fun hanging out with all the cool 10 year olds!

At night we came back and spent the evening handing out candy with Mom, Dad, Kory & Aunt Lynn. Seth and Lily were quite the neighborhood hit in their costumes. Lily had some chocolate and didn’t go to bed until 11pm! Good thing she got to nap the whole next day with Daddy! Check out more pics in Lily’s October folder under Pictures!

Now that Halloween is over, we get to move in to Mommy’s favorite part of the year! I already bought Lily most of her presents and I can’t wait to open them. (Sometimes I think toys at this age are more for the Moms and Dads to reminisce!)

On the learning side, Lily has also been experimenting with taking a couple steps here and there, although she is not quite ready to walk. I am starting to think after watching everyone else with their walking kids I may just never let her learn… sure seems a lot easier! ;-) Her vocabulary continues to astound me, she knows many animal sounds now and can say Thank You when you give her something. She is one smart little Yoda!
