A day late…. but we all had a wonderful day off together. It was so nice to spend the day together and just be lazy. A much needed break. I got a really cool gift from Kory which will hopefully fix the lack of photo updates… it is a memory card for my camera that wirelessly uploads the pictures on its own. (If you could see how many pictures are sitting on my camera’s card that should be in Lily’s folder…. it is pathetic!)

Lily has been busy discovering music these past few weeks. She is actually singing a few songs on her own (although they need Mom interpretation for anyone else to understand). She can sing the ABC’s (but she only repeats about 3-4 letters), the theme song to Higglytown Heroes and several songs from music class. She also has a few favorite songs. She loves the music from the Shrek soundtrack and this new song written by Sarah Barailles (spelling?)… she will actually stop what she is doing to get up and dance to it, no matter where she is in the house. It is funny… I will try to get some video clips to put up later.

Other than that, she continues to amaze me with all the stuff going on in her brain. She can “read” two more full pages from her Cow book (see video below) and now opens other books and reads the words from the Cow book no matter what the book is about.

Lily’s been repeating I love you for a few days now… but tonight she came up to me… hugged me and said, “I love you”.  Best.Moment.Ever.

Lily has been quite busy…. so busy that Mom has had no time to update. Sadly, my computer died so I am without computer while it is sent away. Good news though, it is an HP problem, so they are replacing the motherboard for free. In other not so great news, about 15 pictures I uploaded to Lily’s January folder have disappeared. Hope they are somewhere on my computer once it is returned.

Over the past few weeks we have been lucky to have great weather so everyone, including Happy, have been taking trips to the park. We have also been going to music class with our friend Elena which has been a blast for Lily. One song is about people sneezing and she goes up to the teacher and says Bless You each time she sneezes! So cute! Lily is learning about 2-3 new words a day so communicating is getting a lot easier (and everyone has to watch what they say now!) She even can sing a few songs (but refuses to do this on video so you will have to wait on this one!)
