18 months? For Real?

Time is flying. Everyone survived the seven millionth stomach epidemic and we have been enjoying a very quiet week off. Lily had a great Easter and was spoiled with lots of presents from Grandma and PopPop Mick. She has gotten really into building with blocks and playing with her Little People animal sets.

The craziest thing these days is the garbage disposal that is Lily’s stomach. For the past 6 days straight she has woken up, sat up straight, and said “BREAKFAST!”. And let me tell you, breakfast is no joke around here. She will eat two pancakes, four or five pieces of fruit, eggs, a slice of turkey bacon and still want more.

Almost Spring!

With such nice days, we have been spending lots of time outside. Be sure to check out Lily’s March folder for some new pics. With Lily’s 1/2 birthday coming up, we are going to throw her a huge party… Okay, maybe not a huge party, or even a real party at all… but it is an excuse for cake!

One of her favorite things these days is blowing bubbles outside. She has gotten to that point where she wants to do everything herself and it is so cute to watch (but at the same time a little frustrating-as this can lead to a tantrum or two.. or ten!). I just can’t believe she is already 18 months!

Windy March Days!

So… we are just hanging out these days. Lily did some playing with friends this weekend and some baking with Aunt Lynn. Be sure to check out the March folder for a couple new shots!

Other than that, I leave you with Lily’s face of the day…

Lily’s Life…. updates and video!

Well, not much going on over here. Lily is taking some music classes and some storybook “classes” and seems to be enjoying them. I love watching her with the other kids. At her last music class, she refused to sit on my lap… instead she sat on Kyle (this little 4 year old)’s lap and did the whole song. Since the class she now sings the last two lines of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, the EIEIO part of Old MacDonald and the end to the ABC song. She counts things, but only by saying 1,2,3,6,9… too funny! Do I sound like a proud Mommy much?

Okay… so here is Lily dancing to her favorite song, as promised. It doesn’t matter where she is, if it comes on… she is dancing!
