Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today was Seth’s birthday and since he is off tomorrow… we decided to go in and surprise him with cake and friends. Kory & Tony were there and Ben, Jen, Avery & Carly came out to celebrate too! It was a fun night of cake, birthday hats and geographic discussions about Alaska… did you know it was an island? (That’s what you get Kory for giving me a hard time about not posting!)

Obviously since there was a cake… the two preggos were around!

Lots of pics in the July folder so check them out!

Fruit Picking and Lots of Fun!

Lily’s had a busy few weeks… playdates, trips to the pool and some time spent picking (eating) fruit. We spent the day at Larriland Farms, picking blueberries, cherries and raspberries with Aunt Lynn and Preggo Kory. Delicious! Lily loved the cherries but didn’t quite get the idea of putting them in a bag and paying BEFORE you eat. She was plenty sticky when we got home!

Mmmmm…. Good Eats!

Well, its been a fun summer so far. Lots of music classes, library story time and playdates… oh yeah, and lots of food. Check out some of Lily’s favorite snacks in the new July folder.

It’s a Girl!

So… Lily is going to get a little sister which she has informed me is also part monkey. Being a second child with only sisters myself, I am pretty excited about this. Much to Seth’s chagrin… I think we should fill the house with all girls so that we outnumber him completely and make him go to dance recital after dance recital. Alright- we will throw some baseball games in there, Lily has quite the arm!

Having sisters, I really can’t imagine any better “gift” to give Lily. Something about having someone who is always there for you- even when you are being a total jerk- that is pretty amazing. It is also amazing just how much one person can annoy you when you are 13 and you have friends over and that person sits outside your door knocking for an hour just to be obnoxious so that you have to come out and throw them into a wall just to get them to stop… not that that has happened to anyone I know . ;-) Oh joy! We are going to have our hands full.
