We went to NJ this weekend to visit the fair with Grandma, PopPop Mick, Grandpa and Jana. Got lots of pics at the beach and fair (check out the August folder- we will be uploading throughout the day!

Between the ocean, sand, cotton candy, ice cream (for breakfast!) and rides… Lily had a great time (and was SPOILED rotten!)

What do Baby # 2, Lily and the animals at the National Zoo have in common?

They all saw about the same amount of excitement during our trip to the zoo. I think Lily saw all of 1.5 animals before she passed out. She did wake up in time to enjoy the Metro ride home.

We spent our last family day off together hanging out and playing. We all went to the pool and then came back for naps. After that we got some bike riding in before the rain came down. Check out pics of Lily & Daddy in the August folder.

So, we’ve continued our summer chillin’ out. We finally moved Lily into her big girl bed… and despite what everyone has told me… she is sleeping better there than she ever did in her crib. The only negative is she has learned that if she asks for books she can delay bedtime. I mean, c’mon, are you really going to say no to a kid asking to read another story? We also redid the playroom… aka the dining room that no longer has a table… so Lily is living it up with all the extra space.

Today, we (Kory, Lynn, Lily and I) went to the Howard County Fair and watched the rides and went to the petting zoo. Also ate tons of delicious fair food. Kory chickened out and didn’t try the fried Oreos… but don’t worry, we ate enough calories for a week in one meal! Lily made sure to hang around Aunt Mynn, she knew where the good treats come from!
