Lily turned two this weekend and she had fun having her family and friends come celebrate with her. She had lots of cake (too much based on her 10pm bedtime!) and had so much fun playing with all of her new toys.

Now that Lily is two, it is pretty amazing to think about everything that has happened in the past year.  Lily has turned into quite the kid. Between her ability to use “Oh Snap” appropriately, the fact that she sings 80’s songs in Target and that she can nag Seth with a “Seth Adam” better than I can… she is turning into quite a personality.

It’s just hard to believe what a difference two years makes…

How time flies! September is always a crazy month… Mom is back to work, Dad gets lots more catering orders and Lily celebrates a birthday.

Today Lily pulled a napkin off the shelf and put it on like a cape. She the proceeded to put her arms out and scream, “I am Super Lily! To the Rescue!” I am guessing this means it is a safe assumption she watched tv this morning with Daddy!

We also got a fun package today… Lily & Baby #2’s present from Grandma Pat. She bought us a super cool single/double stroller that is fancier than anything I have ever owned. The best part… it actually weighs less than the stroller we had been using for Lily! I am in love!

Photo Three: And this one is strange looking… but this actually allows a newborn to cocoon underneath with the toddler on top. Even cooler… they sent a free adapter bar so it works with the infant car seat too! So, despite the rain tomorrow… I just may take Lily for a long walk and enjoy our new toy!
