I realized today that I am a big dork! I love my kids to pieces, but I realized today that they have completely ruined me! And here is why…

1. I was excited that there is a new tool being introduced on Handy Manny (Disney cartoon) this week.

2. I am even more excited about the fabulous deal I got on a Mei Tai… and no, that’s not the drink… the baby carrier.

3. I truly think this is one of the coolest things I have seen this year. If only Santa loved me this much…

4. I know the words to The Belly Button Book by heart… “This tiny hippopotamus has something small to say, and if we’re very quiet now…”

And finally…

5. I have my own chearing squad. Everytime I go to the bathroom, even to wash my hands… Lily tells me she is proud of me for going potty.

Emilie turns one month today! She continues to grow… a lot! She seems so much bigger these days, although that may be because I wear her in the sling ALL day and she sometimes feels like she weighs 1000 pounds! That is by far her favorite place to hang out and it is nice since it allows me to dance and play with Lily too. She is certainly happiest being loved and hugged and held.

I can’t believe that we have had Emilie in our lives for 4 weeks… time is flying. On top of that, next week the holidays begin. I am looking forward to getting the tree up and getting ready for Christmas and Hanukah.

Things are busy around here. Emilie is getting fatter by the moment… I love the rolls on her legs! Lily is continuing her trip through the terrific & terrible twos. She is asserting her independence more and more each day… which leads to a lot of fun and insanity. The best part… we are really moving into potty training.. we have even started wearing big girl underwear for part of the day. wooo hooo! Thats fifty bucks a month in diapers, folks! Double wooooooooooooohooooooooooooooo!
