One Month…

I can’t believe Lily is about to be one month tomorrow. It seems like no time has passed at all, but I also feel like I have known her my whole life.

Everyday Lily is interacting more and more with the world. Tonight she spent 10 minutes staring at her frog stuffed animal. She also loves anything black and white and has a book we have been “reading” together… I know, I know, that is more for Mom than for Lily…. it is the teacher in me!

We have been having lots of “playdates” with Avery. Avery was born the day after Lily and the Mommies love taking the girls out for walks and to the mall. You can see pics of the girls playing in Avery’s picture folder.

Look for more pictures and video uploaded tomorrow. :-)

Daddy’s First Post

Today we got to sleep in because Lily decided to sleep really well last night. Since Daddy had the day off we went to the mall. Next we went to Best Buy and trained Lily to be like Daddy. Now she loves spending money at Best Buy too!

Visiting Daddy

Today we went to visit Daddy at work. Lily got to see lots of new people and see lots of new things. Mommy even got a chance to eat lunch on her own! (However we are not sure if Lily liked it too much since she later spit up all over Mommy.)
We also found out people actually check out Lily’s pictures on a regular basis… Hi Kory! :-) so we are going to update more pictures and videos this week. Be sure to use the new links at the top of the website to get to the photo and video galleries.

Busy Week

1228Lily had a busy week this week. We went out for the first time and visited Dad at work after going to the pediatrician. Lily has also learned to focus so she spends her days staring at all the cool presents people have bought her. So far her favorite is the birds on her swing, she can stare at them for hours (okay, maybe only 20 seconds… but it is still cool!)

Aunt Cristine came to visit this weekend. Lily decided to be a bit fussy, hopefully Cristine will come visit us again and isn’t scared away forever ;-)

Have you ever seen a child with so many pictures?

Thanks Aunt Lynn for taking all these pictures of me. I hope you are all enjoying them.

Love, Lily
