Ryan and Aunt Tiner drove 12 hours to see Lily! Poor Ryan was super tired!

Now Lily just wants to know, when will she get to be a flower girl already?

A lot has changed this month… Lily is starting to become a real little person. She lets us know what she likes and doesn’t like. She cries when she is bored and she mimics just about everything we do. There is nothing better than spending my mornings talking to her and watching her laugh.

Now she wants to escape out of everything. She can sit herself up about 1/2 way and tries to wiggle herself out of just about anything we put her in. This kid is ready to move!

Lily and I had the day off together and we sure made good use of it by doing absolutely nothing! We just spent the day playing and hanging out. It is so much fun to play now that Lily really gets into her toys. She likes to talk to them (or sometimes scream at them) and loves to grab and kick whatever is available… even Mommy!

Lily loves her playmat and Bumbo… today we tried them both together and it proved to be a lot of fun!

She was a happy baby today, despite being tortured and forced to try on Mommy’s new favorite hat from Grandpop Mick.

Overall it was a perfect day!

Today was a long day. Poor Lily has been having some trouble sleeping so poor Mommy has been having some trouble too! Screaming baby was back this morning but I think she worked it all out because she was happy and talking up a storm tonight. I think she caught up on her sleep though because she napped for over 6 hours today! Holy sleep, batman. She seems to be back on schedule and is sleeping in her swing like the cute baby she should be.

On a separate note, I just thought this was funny. Aunt Lynn & Lily make the same faces!
