1,800 diaper changes, 180 semi-sleepless nights, 5,000 photos, 10 hours of video, 40 trips to Babies “R” Us and about 23 “frantic” calls to the pediatrician later… Lily turns 6 months old!

We have been very bored and have found some new ways to torture Lily.

Things have been very busy for us over here. Lily is starting to teeth and eats just about everything. She has been quite a happy baby for the past few weeks and is loving just getting involved with the world around her. She has been learning lots of new tricks these past few months and has finally mastered rolling in both directions, sitting up by herself, holding her own bottle at feedings, eating some different “Big Girl” foods, playing her piano and standing when she holds on to something. We have been taking tons of video but have had some trouble uploading them this week so expect to see a few of Lily’s “tricks” in the next week.
Lily will be 6 months in less than a week and it is crazy how much time has been flying. While I am trying to enjoy every second and not always think about what is next, we are definitely looking forward to the upcoming Spring and Summer. It has been so nice to take walks this week and this summer we will be spending lots of time at our pool since I has the whole summer off.
Mom and Lily have not had the most fun week. After passing around colds and a stomach bug, everyone is getting a lot healthier.
